Technical Webmaster

We are looking for a technical webmaster with a combination of creative and technical skills to support our rapid growth. This is a great opportunity for a creative and innovative thinking candidate who can design and build website applications rapidly and help automate the lead generation and data capture process.


Major Responsibilities

You will assume an important role within the sales and marketing team, developing, enhancing and integrating various website components to help create the best possible Customer Experience. You will also play a key role with the automation of lead generation activities and the collection and rollup of key sales and marketing metrics. There are a few things below that we may not want competitors to know about.

 

  • Building/enhancing integrations from website to state of the art third party applications such as ecommerce, Salesforce.com and other partner applications
  • Creating interactive website pages and adding new data capture and lead generation capabilities while working within existing design and layout parameters
  • Developing new web applets, ad hoc scripts and automating other functions
  • Automating website Product Trial registration and delivery processes
  • Working closely with engineering on building web interfaces that interact with the Makana application
  • Aggregating data out of several marketing databases, merging records and generating standard weekly reports, as well as ad hoc reports. Improving workflow automation of data flow and report generation
  • Monitoring data generated by the company's primary web-based marketing programs (including Google Ad words, Yahoo! Search and others), generating regular reports, and executing changes as directed by marketing to the programs upon request


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on development and management of commercial web sites
  • Experience with html, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Acrobat, or other tools for developing web sites.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel including macros
  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with Opt-in e-mail campaigns
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and responsibilities
  • Self-directed, self-motivated, positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a desire for continuous improvement.
