Salesforce.com Commissions and Performance Made Easy

Posted by www.makanasolutions.com Admin on Thu, Mar 05, 2009 @ 01:37 PM

We just posted a quick demo of The Sales Portal for Salesforce.com that automatically posts commission statements and performance reports under a tab in salesforce.com. Available in March, and free to all Makana Motivator Pro customers, the Sales Portal for SFDC will provide all reps and management with secure access to up-to-date commission agreement and performance reporting.

Why is this important?
Detailed commission statements provide reps what they need to stay focused on selling. Status reports tell both reps and management where they stand. Sales management can see how the team is performing as well as each individual. And can even see how the team is performing by goal.

How is it Easy?
The reason I say this is "made easy" is because the Sales Portal is provided in an affordable self-service solution. No costly implementation or training. We help you design effective plans. Once you calculate incentive payments (with just two clicks of a button) the reports and statements are automatically created and available to your team in their salesforce.com accounts.

Finally there is an alternative to the inefficient and error-prone use of spreadsheets to provide feedback and reporting.

Hope you like the demo, and let me know what you think!

I watched the demo. Where do the 'orders' come from? As far as I know sales information is not recorded in SFDC other than in an 'opportunity'. Opportunities don't always mirror what actually happens in our accounting system.

Thanks for your great clarifying question: Where do the orders come from? They come from an export in .csv format from whatever system you are using to manage them: Order entry, accounting system, etc. Rarely SFDC.
